Commercial interior landscape installation at a major regional facility in South Texas by Southern Gardens

Commercial · Infrastructure · South Texas

Building the Infrastructure Behind South Texas' Growth.

Commercial landscape, site improvement, construction and exterior infrastructure capabilities across the Rio Grande Valley.

Positioning

More than landscaping.

A design-build-construction company built to take on the exterior scopes behind serious South Texas development.

Southern Gardens Companies LLC is intentionally positioned to serve general contractors, developers, municipalities, school districts, healthcare campuses, industrial facilities, commercial properties and institutions — the projects shaping the Rio Grande Valley.

We self-perform and coordinate exterior scopes under one company: site improvements, concrete, irrigation, drainage, artificial turf, commercial landscape, fencing, trees, land clearing and grading. One subcontract. One point of accountability. One finished site.

Our vision is to build an organization capable of serving thousands of people, employing good people, developing leaders, winning larger contracts, serving major institutions, participating in South Texas growth, and building something that lasts.

Who we serve

Built to serve the people building South Texas.

The owners, contractors and institutions who need one accountable team across the exterior of a project.

  • General Contractors

Self-performed exterior and site scopes under one subcontract.

  • Developers

Site preparation through finished landscape for new development.

  • Municipalities

Public grounds, parks, right-of-way and civic site improvements.

  • School Districts

Campus grounds, athletic and recreational surfaces, irrigation and drainage.

  • Healthcare

Campus landscape, hardscape and exterior improvements built around operations.

  • Industrial

Land clearing, grading, drainage, fencing and durable low-maintenance grounds.

  • Commercial Property

Retail, office and multifamily exterior scopes and ongoing property care.

  • Institutions

Churches, campuses and organizations planning large exterior projects.

How we work

Working with contractors and owners.

Straightforward from the first set of drawings to the last walk-through.

  1. Step 01: Bid & scope review

Send the plans, specifications and bid due date. We review the exterior scopes, ask the questions that matter and respond with a clear scope and a number.

  2. Step 02: Coordination

One subcontract can carry multiple exterior scopes — concrete, irrigation, drainage, turf, landscape, fencing, trees and clearing — so the GC or owner manages one team instead of eight.

  3. Step 03: Execution

Crews, equipment and a schedule you can hold us to. Straight communication through the build, and a clean closeout.

  4. Step 04: Ongoing property care

After turnover, grounds, irrigation and exterior improvements are maintained to protect the asset and the investment behind it.

Owners and general contractors need to know who they are putting on a site. Our qualifications package answers that in one document.
